VALLEJO STREET RESIDENCE

SAN FRANCISCO

Favorably situated on the slopes of Pacific Heights, the complete renovation of this 1906 Vallejo Street residence breathes new life into this spectacular home. With stellar views of the Bay, the project conceives a new steel-, glass-, and wood stair that dramatically moves one vertically to the fourth floor terrace above; and like much of the firm’s work, additions of new skylights, expansive glass, and seamless detailing reinforce strong links between indoors-and-out. Through a thoughtful reconfiguration of interior spaces, with a taught interior palette by Nicole Hollis, the project is an embodiment of Modern San Francisco.
