ALADDIN TERRACE 2

SAN FRANCISCO

Located at the end of a mid-block alley in the heart of Russian Hill, this project includes interior and exterior alterations throughout-, a 4th floor vertical addition-, and three sides of expansive floor-to-ceiling window wall capturing 270 degree views from Alcatraz, San Francisco Bay, Coit Tower, and across to downtown San Francisco. The proposed design also includes the merger of an adjacent vacant lot to be developed as an open garden with a single-story fully detached “pavilion”. The aesthetic for the proposed design is one of an updated Modernism, grounded in the strong mid-century principles of icons Richard Neutra and Walter Gropius.
